Hi,

Just installed your app. Is pretty nifty. Pointless but cool to play :)

Any chance of the source code? I would like to try get it to work with my HTC Touch HD and accelerometer. Change direction of pour based on phone orientation.

Any changes you be sent back to you...

Cheers,
Crispin

Manuel, do you know Burning Sand?
This is a sand game for the PC, and is like you version but moddable.
This mean we can add elements and interactions.

Do you think you will one day update this pocketsand, because it is awesome, but need some more functionnality to be endless.

We trying to make a sand game in Basic4PPC, what language you use for yours?

Thanks and great job you did !

Hi Manuel. Had a play with this on a friends PPC, amazing program! Althoug I've tried to install it onto my Dell Axim x30, it installs but doesn't play, the title just flickers and disappears. Is this a known bug? Can anything be done to fix? It's running WM2003SE...

Cheers,
Nick

Hey Piers,
happy you like pocketSand!
Unfortunately i've no time currently to continue development on the ppc platform, but i hope to get more in future.
As for the water+fire interaction, yes it generates condensation and it can be used to make plants grow: just create a dome construction where condensation particles will group together and after a while they just become water, dripping to the bottom where you'll have placed some green ;)

Hey Manuel,

This software is great! Seriously! I have spent hours playing with this little beauty. Can I ask, do you have more fun software like this for ppc? Also, you know how when BLUE (water) meets RED (fire) it creates GREY (condensation)? What can be done with condensation? Does it react with anything?

Mate, GREAT program. Please reply to me email piers888 [at] gmail [dot] com
